About us
A1 Transport & Logistic is a member of the OSK Group and has been operating actively on the market since 2002.
The firm's specialises in unloading shipping containers, and all associated services - warehousing, customs declaration, marine packaging, securing of goods, wooden packaging treatment according to international standards, collections and deliveries of goods, delivering containers from and to port.
The company has modern equipment, a specialised IT system, recording of goods flow via QR system and AEO certification, and it has a camera system. All the provided services are fully neutral. The customers' goods are fully insured.
The firm currently has a capacity of 9600 m2 of covered halls and operates very close to the Metrans container terminals in Prague and Ostrava. The location of the warehouses provides customers with additional advantages in the form of a reduction in costs in the context of connection of the terminals to sea ports. Warehouses have universal equipment installed for the handling of containers and goods, so it is possible to tranship virtually anything - heavy or outsized items, pipes etc.
History
A1 Transport & Logistic is a member of the OSK Group and has been operating actively on the market since 2002.
The company started out operating a warehouse capacity of 1600 m2 in Nučice (Prague-west). In the early years of its activity, it gradually started to establish itself on the market. A real milestone in the development of the company was 2010, when the company's activities shifted to the close proximity of the Metrans terminal in Prague Uhříněves. This terminal is the largest of its kind in the entire region, and it was here that the company leased a total of 4000 m2 and where it also relocated its headquarters. This allowed the company to develop further and expand the offer of services. In the given context there was a significant expansion in the customer portfolio. Today it has 6000 m2 of storage capacity rented, and the overall turnover of handled goods reaches more than 150 thousand cbm per year. The modernisation of equipment and technology also go hand in hand with development. The firm is involved in the distribution of goods in the entire central European region, and since 2016 it has started to play a significant role in the organisation of the entire export collection service.
In 2016, storage space was opened in Ostrava Šenov in compliance with the firm's long-term intentions. The aim is to get closer to customers in the given region, including foreign ones (Slovakia, Poland). As a result A1 Transport & Logistic has a total storage capacity of approximately 9600 m2 of covered area. The focus of the Ostrava transhipment area copies the activities of the already fully functional terminal in Prague, and so it can utilise to the full the existing know-how in the context of its focus and specialisation.

We perform loading, unloading, transhipments of containers, handling of heavy loads, grading, consolidation, repacking and other services. Containers are stacked by our own reachstacker from the terminal. For securing we use only quality Cordstrap fixing materials.

When ensuring customs clearance of consignments we utilise a strategic location near the customs office. Issue of export, import, transit customs documents and operation of temporary bonded warehouse, possibility of guarantee for customs debt.
Treatment
Wood Packaging Material (WPM) must be free of live pests and signs of damage caused by pests. The international standard for such treatment is ISPM-15, which permits several methods for the given purposes. Heat treatment has the most universal validity from the aspect of territorial applicability. But we offer all the used certified treatments in compliance with requirements AQIS (Australia), APHIS (USA etc.).
